Trudeau recently made his way to the United Nations to join the more than 130 nations, to sign the climate change agreement that was negotiated last December in Paris.
Oh yeah, Rachel Notley was also at the United Nations along with Catherine McKenna, minister of Climate Change.

In total, some 193 heads of state and prime ministers where invited to the ceremony at UN headquarters in New York; which is headed by Secretary General Ban Ki Moon.
According to the United Nations, the signing will represent 55 percent of the most polluting countries on the planet as a first guarantee that this agreement will be applied as soon as possible. During the United Nations gala celebrating the signing of the climate change treaty, Leonardo DiCaprio took it upon himself to speak a few more words addressing the dire need for action against climate threats.
“Adding Hollywood stardust to the signing ceremony of the Paris Agreement on counteracting global warming, the Oscar-winning actor, who has previously spoken at the UN on climate change, gave an impassioned five-minute address first quoting Abraham Lincoln and then giving real examples of climate change devastation that he had personally witnessed on his travels as a UN messenger of peace,” TheHollywood Reporter said.[via]

But ironically Trudeau talks about saving the planet, yet burns tons of jet fuel on his three day trip to New York.

Liberals like Catherine McKenna however have other ideas such as putting a price on carbon, this is nothing more than a redistribution of wealth lead by the World Bank and the IMF. The agreement urges countries to increase the ability to deal with the impacts of climate change and wants to increase the capacity of countries to support the effects of climate change, including funding, for nations to build a “clean future.” Obviously via our tax dollars.
The agreement also forces countries to undertake a review every five years to increase its ambition in the long term plan, the UN says climate action must be initiated before 2020 and that the parties will define a roadmap to achieve the distribution of up to 100 billion dollars for “climate finance.”

But Trudeau himself has indicated that even if Canada stops emitting green house gasses today it wouldn’t make a difference at all to the trend lines, so this begs the question why would he drag Canada’s economy to the ground with a carbon tax if its not going to lower emissions?

And speaking of climate change skeptics, phony TV scientist Bill Nye wants to arrest people who don’t believe in climate change, shocking really.
Does Global Warming exist or doesn’t it? Maybe it does, maybe it doesn’t. But, how would we know, as no single scientist can say what the appropriate temperature of the planet actually should be. Climate is ever changing.
Is it caused solely by man? Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t. Who can say, as our planet has been much hotter and much colder many times throughout its history. And through no fault of we homo-sapiens. Climate is always changing.
But sadly, in reality, these questions no longer even matter.
For now there is consensus. Dangerous, all consuming unquestionable consensus. That climate change must be stopped at all costs.
So where is the consensus? In the science? Well no, not there.
“Recently many people have said that the earth is facing a crisis requiring urgent action. This statement has nothing to do with science. There is no compelling evidence that the warming trend we’ve seen will amount to anything close to catastrophe. What most commentators—and many scientists—seem to miss is that the only thing we can say with certainly about climate is that it changes. The earth is always warming or cooling by as much as a few tenths of a degree a year; periods of constant average temperatures are rare.” Richard Lindzen, the Alfred P. Sloan Professor of Meteorology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Well, in the pandering of politicians. In the implicitness of the media. In the indoctrination of the malleable minds in our schools and universities. In the greedy outstretched hands and elitist battering rams of those with the power over the way you may live your life. So, you see, it no longer really even matters whether Global Warming is real or not. It is being treated as if it were. And it matters little whether humans are, indeed, causing Global Warming or even whether we as a species can have any real affect upon stopping it. We all will be subjected to and affected by the changes that the Greens, and the politicians that pander to them, have in store for us whether any of this is really true or not. This boat has sailed. And so the real question is, just what are the environmentalists prepared to have us do about it?
